i kinda feel like an idiot posting this buttt
i've noticed my temp. guage actin a bit funny. overheating, stuck at akward temps, first thing that came to mind was effed up t-stat. and i was gettin ready to replace it and my buddy claims it is more of a tricky job on a stang then what i'm used to...is this true?
cuz lately we've both been busy and i kinda wanna get this in to see if that will fix the problem

Pull the cluster? To replace a t-stat. I think you mis read something.

It's not a bad job, the worst part is wrenching out the 1 bolt that sits behind the top of the timing cover. Other than that, it's just like doing anything else. Just take your time.

use some rtv and let it set up long enough to let the tstat stay in the housing before reinstalling it.
