yep i agree with the above, now when you stop hearing that sound after hearing it all this time you know somehtings wrong

I also removed the oil baffle and ridges and using 2 gaskets with no improvement..I don't think its hitting the valve cover...I have heard some said that using steel valve covers, you won't hear the ticking noise as much as the aluminum covers...Has anyone heard that before? Is that true?
