now that i put one good plug in it smoked a little when i started it up then it went away. other than that she hasnt smoked. also felt faster and pulled harder. not to full potential thought. im leaning towards the bad valves possible on 3rd cylinder back drivers side

the only real way to check is to pull the heads off, and if your going that far you might as well replace them. what it sounds like to me is you have a valve seal leak, and your loosing compression through the valve seats that are either beat up from mileage or the oil effected them somehow, maybe serious bunt oil buildup on the valves keeping them from closing properly.. but im about 90%sure your prob is in that cylinder head (im a ford mechanic), and yes it will definately pick up some pwer when fixed, maybe a little mpg but i dont think anything significant

also i need a new inner and outer shift boot bc mine is ripped horribly. now that i put the new plug in it smokes coming out of the shifter a little bit when i whack the throttle..smells kinda funny...???

did you get oil or anything on the exhaust manifold when pulling the plug? if you did its just the stuff burning off.

the VC gasget is leaking. prolly from that but it smells funny not really like oil idk
