Replaced all the cheap stuff I could think of. Cap, rotor, coil, wires. Am not a mechanic... Willing to worship and speak very highly about anyone who can help. Motor turns well, fuel pump makes the noise it is supposed to make. 75,000 miles 5 speed. Ford factory alarm.

did you change the plugs they could easily be fouled out and check all the engine and chassis grounds and does the car still turn over!!

PIP / Hall effect sensor? Ignition Control Module?

Just two more things that could possible cause a problem.

thanks for the quick replies, the motor does turn over very well, funny thing is that it ran fine all day then didn't start the next. come to think if it, thats not funny at all. will check all suggested items and report my findings.

If it doesn't run now but ran a little while ago it's that sensor in your distributor I think it's called the PIP but not sure somebody correct me here
