Default Gasket and Bolt replacement HELP!

Hey guys,

Remember I told ya there was a gasket that I needed to replace but couldn't find? I still can't and I was hoping you guys could help me out, this is the message I got from the guy who's selling me the car:

"If your going to replace any bolts they are the valve cover bolts and intake
manifold bolts. The intake manifold is made by Trickflow so that would be the
place to get it, the gasket goes between the upper and lower intake. There is no
pressure of any kind there so it won't blow. If you don't have the gasket by the
time I am ready to put the car together I am just going to use silicone."

Will I have any problems if he Uses silicone? cause he told me theres no preasure there so it would be fine to do that because were having a hard time finding this head gasket, we have no model" on the intake manifold so we can't find it =\ I thought maybe you guys could help

Thanks alot guys

i dont see why there would be a problem using RTV sealant or silicone.

just as long as there are no vacuum leaks and that he got all the surface to surface contacts filled with silicone, i think youd be ok.

try not to put too much silicone on the surfance because when you go to tighten the bolts down the silicone will squeeze out the sides and may in time break off and get in your intake. other than that i see no problems.

you can also buy gasket material you just have to trace and cut, i had to use this technique on my throttle body cause i did the valve covers and totally forgot that i would need gaskets for that

Those are great idea's, I'll try calling and if that doesn't work, where can I get gasket material? That would work too I think.
