Low battery when starting

Low battery when starting
I have a 90 LX that every time I go to start it the low battery light is on. I put a new battery in and it didn't solve the problem. The battery has been dead just sit for 2 days. Put a new alternator on recharged the battery and had it tested. I also put new battery cables on. When I go to start it still shows low battery but once it runs for a little bit it goes to normal on the gauge. When it is running and you turn on the turnsignal the needle on the gauge bounces up and down. Also the alternator is a 75 amp. Any ideas?

do you have underdrive pulleys? when i got rid of the clutch fan and put an electric from a taurus happened the same thing, so i changed the alternator forone of 125 amp out of a 99 grand marquiz (thats what they told me) and problem fixed

No under drive pulleys. When I cut the car on it reads normal on the volts gauge. Turn the key off and right back on it reads low and the low battery light comes on. I checked the volts at the battery without the car running 12.5 with the car running 14.3

i had this happen to my VW, i think its called a parasite also i think they sell kits at wallmart for it. For me it was my heated mirror had no clue it was on leanded on it one day and found it. Well what somebody told me to do (if i can remember) hook up one of those testers with the light take off your negative battery terminal and clip 1 side to the cable and to the negative side of the battery, then start pulling fuses till the light goes out. it was a while ago so im pretty sure thats how it goes.....
