i just took the Maf and air filter off and the car still didnt start? firing order is perfect and its getting fuel bc after that i sprayed starting fluid in the T.B and it didnt start so someone please help??????Do u think my comp. is FU*KED???

When you first turn the key forward, do you hear the fuel pump start up and then shut off after one second? Did you try pulling codes? You can do that at home for free or you can buy a $30 scanner at Auto Zone.

You're positive that you're getting fuel and you're positive that you did not flood it or foul the plugs in the process? All plugs are getting a spark and they are getting it at the right time?

What exactly is happening when you try to start it? Does it just crank all day long or what?

did you check for spark at the plug... i know stupid ? but if you have fuel and spark its gotta be something to do with the dist... also check out the pass lock sensor ( chip in key) if you have spark all the time at the plugs pass lock is not the prob.... in other words that tells you if the computer is shutting things down.... even if the computer is fried ( i would be real surprised) it should in some cases still run in limp mode....

Well the car will crank crank crank all day long just not fire and yes i can here that loud *** fuel pump lol i am getting spark at all plugs and i have not tried the codes bc the pocket scanner only test vehicles 97 and newer right?
