Default Brake Pressure Metering Valve

I'm trying to find a brake pressure metering valve for my 79 5.0 Mustang. They are no longer available at dealerships (imagine that) and parts houses don't carry them either. Any suggestions?

Your probably looking for a proportioning valve. Ford part # EOZZ-2B257-A. Theyre still available, they run around $166.
-P.
PS: Theyre the same all the way up to 1989.

He is right! However, depending on where you get it from, you can probably get it for cheaper. Try calling Bill Jenkins at Signature LM in Las Vegas.

the proportioning valve is different from a metering valve.
the proportioning valve sends fluid out to each corner.

the metering valve designates how much pressure is applied, to keep an even brake bias.
because of the lack of available metering valves, he needs an adjustable proportioning valve for the rear.

Never heard of it called a metering valve. But a prop'valve does adjust brake bias. A distribution block sepperates the flow with no regulation. Not a prop'valve. And some prop'valves have distrobution blocks built in.
