only benefit of solid mounts is it transfer a tad more horsepower in lower hp apps.

I honestly don't know why everyone hates solid mounts so much. I run em in mine, and with a poly trans mount (never buy a solid trans mount) it's not bad at all. Not even an "I can just deal with it" thing, they really aren't bad.

i have some energy suspension motor mounts and tranny mount... i think there pretty good... im not say their the best but pretty good for hte price... but i would diffenetly get some mounts or somehting... u dont want you mounts not to give out while htere on hte car... that would be a very bad day for u my friend

you want some deflexxion in hte trans. a solid trans mount will snap a transcase in some applicaitons

Years ago, a friend of mine tryed using solid mounts in his 11 second 350/350 Nova.
Trans case lasted about 3 passes till it complely broke/shattered.........

the poly ones are so much nicer. the rubber ones are cheap, and you'll be replacing them again after 50-80k miles.
