had my 88 parked in my drive for a few, when i got back in it, it smelled like i dumped a tank all over the interior. There was two big spots on my driveway. K, i just toped off the tank a few hrs b4 so thats tellin me there might be a hole in the tank. I looked under and i think they're the stock fuel lines (rubber not stainless?) and they were wet in one spot also it kinda had been smellin like there was gas in the exhaust. Im leanin twords that cause of the nature of the spots on the ground. What would cause this?

on that hose did you check to see if there was a small hole or if it was dry rotted?

time to empty the tank, and drop it.

when the filler neck seal goes bad its common for a full tank to slop gas out thru it.
Seen a friend go around a corner and dump 2 gals of gas in the road when his was bad.
