Using a used intake manifold on my 302 roller build and the surface where the gasket was is pretty rough... i don't have a grinder or anything like that... how can i prep the surface and make it ready to go??? steel wool? what kind or de-greaser or what should i use...

you need a buffer then

a buffer? id say a little sandpaper, anything to smooth it out and get rid of the high spots

yeah fine grip paper...good excuse to get a grinder with a buffing wheel lol
