3500 - 8000 for a 302 = 3000 - 6858 for a 351
3500 - 7500 for a 302 = 3000 - 6430 for a 351
1800 - 6000 for a 302 = 1543 - 5143 for a 351
Round up the upper cam range to 5200 rpms......isn't that "too conservative"?....and this is only using one of the factors you should look at when choosing the correct parts. There is more to configuring a good combo, than just looking at RPM ranges, you could either "buy, install and check".....and reconfigure it once you don't achieve your goals ($$$$).....orrrrr........

my dad always told me if i put more thana .500 lift cam in my car i wont be able to drive it on the street because its not made for that type of driving....and my engine would be wreaked in a week of street driving. i believed him becasue he builds race engines and his current car runs 8's in the 1/4 mile....he is a dodge guy. so is he some what right? im gunna look at some bigger duration cams right now from lunati and comp
