transmission popping out of gear

my transmission has been popping out of 1st gear it done it when i was getting on it kind of hard but has done it only 3 times, what could be wrong with it, the shifter is stock and it has only happened in 1st gear.

inserts for the synchro arent sitting properly... time for a rebuild
