I just got this car and the car starts , but wont shut off. There is a red wire with a green stripe, the wire i believe is conected to the coil, and to the battery.?? well anyhow, is this wire supposed to get hot when the car is running? When this wire is hooked to the red and black wire the car shuts off but then the lights are on the whole time the car is running!

sounds like some one got their hands in there and messed with stuff. im not sure what your really talking about i work off pictures a little better
