RE: whats a good car to get a bigger throttle body off of?
I have the GT40P heads for my new motor, they are good for a low budget build IMO.
I also have the explorer intake, have to make a couple mods to the lower but they work good too. I even ran it on my car for a while but with out the ACT sensor in place it doesn't run very well.
The intake is 70mm bore but with my digital calipers I measured it closer to 68.8mm.
Right now I have the factory intake on the car with the BBK 70mm EGR spacer and the 70mm TB that came with the intake, but as I said before I had to modify it with the butterfly arm from my factory TB. I took time to hand port the opening on the intake to 70mm to smooth the flow. But I am still running the 55mm MAF so I'm sure it's not getting anywhere near the power I would If I had my 70mm MAF on right now.
