Default 94-95 maf

Hi guys i've been reading on these fourms for a while now and i've decided toget a 94-95 mafmeter for my dads 89 gt. Yes i said my dads i dont have a mustang yet but will def. be getting one soon.He bought the car complety stock and we are slowly modding it. I just want to see what you guys think about the parts i am looking at to get, for some feedback before buying. The mods so far are bbk shortys, pypes x pipe, pypes violator catback, bbk cai, cobra u/l intake, pro 5.0 shifter, msd coil andcap &rotor, ford 9mm racing wires, cobra r rims with goodyear eagle f1's, and a bunch of little things.
Here is the maf i am looking at. Tell me what you think...

And here is the adapter plate i am looking at. A little pricey so let me know if you can find one for cheaper.

Ive got the '94 MAF on my '92.
I bought an adapter on ebay for a 3.8 v6 (the one they listed for a 5.0 was the wrong size) and I only paid $12 shipped.

PJB, what exactly was wrong with the one listed for the 5.0?

I can not see the 94-95 MAF flowing that much more. It may be bigger, but its got a post in the middle off it, thus reducing the effective overall diameter, and removing ther post with a hack saw creates an inaccreate senor reading. I guess it kind of cheap, so it would hurt to try.

If I remember right it was the wrong size opening. I read about it here and on Stangnet and was told to buy the 3.8 one.

I didnt see the cheaper one I bought listed on ebay now. There was a bunch listed when I bought mine.

So there is no reason why i shouldnt buy this? Everything is the right part?
I am just worried that the maf wont come with the sensor or something stupid like that since its ebay. I emailed the seller about it yesterday but he hasnt gotten backto me yet.

That price sounds about right for an SN95 MAF. I sold mine for $35 shipped and it, of course, included the sensor. But like you said, you never know with eBay guys.
