platnum tips are supposed to hold up longer, so you wont have to change so often - but i would rather change plugs more regularly anyways so long as they arent over 100 bucks a set like the new 4.6 plugs[:@]

my '90 gt had trouble w/ platinums too.....mid rpm miss...a hard miss.......like it was on the limiter

replaced w/ coppers and no mo problem

Vehicle: 2003 Cobra

New Motorcraft Plugs increased horsepower by 1.92 and torque by 4.28

Changing to Brisk Premium LGS Spark Plugs gave an additonal 5.18 horsepower and 0.5 lb ft of torque; considering that was additional to the motorcraft plugs the brisk plugs gave a real increase of 7.10 horsepower and 4.78 lb ft of torque. http://www.briskusa.com/products.htm#premium check out the design and demos on the website and it will be easy to see why they are superior

the msd cap is a good idea. I have one, they have brass terminals instead of junk aluminum.

I've been using platinum plugs since I bought my Cobra and have never had a problem, they still look brand new.
