Are they interchangable between 7.5/8.8? im assuming there not, but worth a try.

I've always read and been told the axles are the same, just the housing and carriers are different.

The axle are the same just make sure spline count is the same.....7.5 are slightly weaker....

Ive got axles from a Ranger 7.5 in mine so Im assuming Mustang 7.5 axles work too.
