ive been gettin my motor ready to pull in my 91 hatch automatic for the past 2 hours. So far ive removed the radiator, radiator shroud, ac condensor, ac lines, alot of large rubber hosing on the lower passeneger side, ac wiring, group of vac lines on passenger side, mass air and intake tubing, battery and tray, and coil wire and spark plug wires. Ive gotten all of the bolts off the passenger header also.... im just trying to get these metal tubes that run from the passenger side of the motor to the back of the motor....one of the tubes has a metalhook looking thing the was bolted to the baack of thepassenger header.Is there any major things i should know... like any tips or tricks? i know i still have a good bit to remove

your referring to the "y" pipe i believe

the smog pump hooks to it right ?

it's much easier if you ditch it for good, you plug the 2 vac lines for it, ditch the pump, then close the hole in the h-pipe where it ties in

you will need to plug the heads w/ thermactor plugs, they are a threaded insert like in the front of the heads
