I replaced mine. Its not to hard but def. not fun to do. First you take off the dash, then remove the cluster, then you reach behin and unplug the speedo cable. then from the the engine bay pull it thru. unhook it on the trans. Its a time consuming process. the hardest part is putting the new cable back into the instrument cluster. make sure you snake it thru the firewall far enough, so you can see it from inside your car. If you have big hands its harder to put the cable in the cluster. If you have any problems just ask.

be careful with that dash cluster as the back of it is a printed circuit board for all the dash instruments and you don't want to scratch or break any of the circuits on it. there are two electrical plugs on the back of it in addition to the speedo cable that you have to disconnect and then the whole thing will come right on out so you can work on it. the electrical plugs release by squeezing them on both ends at the same time while applying some pressure to pull them out of their holes. they are about 1/2" wide and 2" long, one is horizontal on the lower right hand side and the left hand side one is mounted vertically if memory serves me right. you don't have a lot of room to pull the cluster out either, but you can get to them and get them loose, just be patient.

I recently installed white faced gauges also. Hey Ill give you a great tip, Take a picture of your gauges when its warmed up, or write down where the needles point at. Also those needles are very hard to get out and when you use the tool it comes with the needles shoot out fast and could get lost(it happens). And the most important part is take you time, scrape all of the old gauge off, because when you take the old ones off they leave behind a sticky dark thing on the cluster, so when you install the new gauges the light shows thru clearly.
