I used a buddys scissor tranny jack that he got from Harbor Freight, and it made installation a breeze. When I removed it, I just pulled the crossmember and pulled it out onto my chest.

how heavy are t5's? i carried my aod with the torque converter still on it and full of fluid about 15 foot because i couldnt drag itand that was not something i ever want to do again

I am hoping that I wont have trouble putting the tranny back in tomorrow... got the new pilot bearing, rear main seal, flywheel, clutch on, and bellhousing back on tonight =)
