What type of factory black paint was used to paint the exterior mirrors? Was it flat black with a clear coat or no clear coat?Is there a specific paint codefor the black exterior trim? Both ofthe mirrors on my 1992 LX 5.0 have faded to near white...

 

you can get trim paint at the auto store that will match the factory paint. it's more like a satin finish. i used it on all my molding and mirrors and it looks good.
