Default Driver's side door has no power

I have a 1990 GT and it has power windows and locks. The window and lock on the passenger door work great. But the driver side switch will not run the passenger or driver window. However the driver side door lock switch will lock and unlock the passenger door but not the driver door itself. My dad owned the car before me and he said it quit working all of a sudden one day while it was raining. Any ideas????

Check your Switch for the drivers window and the lock to see if they have power first. If they both have power in them, then both your locking mechanism motor and the wiper motor might have shorted out and broke. Check the wires that go from the body of the car to the door first though because they do tend to get pinched in there from time to time.

Yeah i checked all 3 of the switches and replaced the window switches. I have no power coming into the window switches butthe lock switch has juice but it won't fire the drivers side lock actuator.I figure the actuator may be toasted and it is causing a dead short but i dont know?

You can unplug the actuator and send 12v to it and see if it works
