make sure your gear pattern and backlash are correct!

yeah anything dealing with drive train or engine mods I would not buy used unless those things look brand spanking new. I agree with all previous posts on this.

i agree u can get new gears with an install kit for like like 220... the install kit sperately is like 100 bucks or a little more which u will need newayz... so you cutting corners for what.. 15 bucks??? kinda a no brainer main.... get on summitracing.com or 50resto and get a gear and gear install kit... they cut u a little bit of a deal buying it all together and u need it neways so just buy it all at once brand new... i know people how have gotten bu with used gears just fine but i also know ppl who have had really big problems with used gears... just get one ones and be safe... if they were like 25 bucks it might be worth it but there selling them for at least 80% of original price and even if they wre in perfect condition there used so i wouldnt give more than 60%... like 50-60 bucks tops... its you money tho do as u wish

NOT EVERYONE HAS EXTRA 100 OR 200. I used to use, used gears on my chevy's......do you think race teams throw out gear sets when they have used them to have to switch them out for a taller or shorter gear for a track?...mmm did I use used enough?

why most installer swon't touch used gears is for some reason their not dead on then it could howe and the cust is back and he doesn't get paid for doing the job twice
