Help! 4.6 owner with 5.0 tranny question.
I recently just bought a 94 GT with the intentions of supercharging my 4.6 and keeping the 5.0 as a daily driver. I would like to put the T-45R into my 99GT and I was wondering if the T-45 out of my 99 would bolt right up to my 5.0. I've used the search function and I haven't been able to find anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again.

If the bell housing on your 94 can be unbolted, then yes, you can buy a bellhousing that will mate to the 4.6 and use the T45. I know the fox body T5's had a unboltable bellhousing, and the 4.6's had a single piece unchangable so that 5.0 owners cant use a factory T5 from a 4.6 car.

no, no, no.... I was wondering if I could throw the factory T-45 from my 99 4.6 GT into a 94 5.0 GT. From what I can gather, then, if I can get a bellhousing that with bolt up to the5.0 then I can put a T-45 in there?

The fox T5 does have a removable bell housing (why you would want the turd in anything else god only knows)

well, boo.... thanks for the help then anyways guys... guess I'm going to need to find a used T-5 from somewhere then. The whole reason I wanted to put a T-45 in was because the T-5 that came in the 5.0 is shot.
