when i shift from 2nd to 3rd fast the gears grind but if i go slow and smooth it will not grind only happens when shifting to 3rd from any gear but only when i shift fast as if i were racing but doesnt grind when i shift smooth.

just J/K but it's part of the problem...a stock shifter don't help and stock clutch

i have the same issue with 2nd. grinds when i shift quickly, i have to granny shift to make it go in and sometimes i can feel the gears touch with some resistance....so yea tranny rebuild is in my future!

I found that my 2-3 grind was coming from a part that was installed incorrectly when the trans was rebuilt before I bought the car
