? About BBK CAI

Hi, I have a 89 5.0 Lx and I just installed the BBK Cold Air Intake(fenderwell) and removed the air silencer. I was expecting more noise in the front but Im also noticing that my car sounds louder in the back. Just wondering if thats normal?

When my car is idling you can hear it sucking air but it doesnt get loud at WOT like the 4 cylinders with intakes...

My car has a whistle while driving from the BBK CAI.

i dont have any noise with mine except for when your standing right in front of it.......i thought whistling or increased noise from an intake meant turbulance? is that correct?...if so that wouldnt be good.....

....whistling while driving inside your car....thats F'ing loud if you ask me. there is obviously something not right there. i can hear mine sucking in air standingright in front of it.(stock air box, just a filter, and CAI all were the same result)but not from inside the car while driving, to me that just doesnt seem correct
