bout to intall rockers on stock heads?
ok well im about to install some 1:6 rockers on my stock heads just curious how the right way they should be put on is ? can i just bolt them down or is there more to it? anything i can tell me would help

if they are pedastal mount what I do is run each cylinder up to top dead center and then run the bolt down untill you reach0 lash = slight drag on the push rod while spinning and then you should only have enough left after that to turn it 3/4 to 1 full turn to reach about 25 ftlbs of torque on bolt if it takes more than that you'll have to shim up the pedastals with a shim kit

by running each cylinder up to top dead center you can do both exhaust and intake rocker at the same time and then just follow the firing order from there to the next cylinder...I usually shine a small led light while having someone spin the motor over to see when each cylinder is at TDC and reference it to the dizzy rotor in relation to the plug wire location on the cap
