5.0 spark cuts out when warm
I have a 90 5.0- spark cuts out when warm-checked codes, replaced distributor, module, coil, rotor, cap, battery cables-cleared all codes- SPARK STILL CUTS OUT- after engine cools a couple hours, it starts and runs normal again-I now am suspecting EEC-anyone else had this problem-it's driving me crazy-thanks. I need to check codes again- I'll probably get 'ignition profile pick-up' but I've changed module twice, and stator once. Module sends spark signal but I believe it is also using data from EEC. Can EEC cause this ??? Or something else?
