they look good to me, check out these dyno tests and see what u think. http://www.airflowresearch.com go to articles and then to ford tests, then to ultimate guide to cylinder heads group 1 and start studying

Those are the same heads i have on the crate engine i bought ( gt40x's). I havent ran them yet but im gunna do it probably next week. But they are supposed to be one of the best in the gt40 line!

You bought one of fords crate engines? Im looking into doing that, except I want to buy one of their shortblocks and bolt on some AFRs, how do you like the engine? Also how HP do you think it will handle and how much do you think its making to the wheels now?

decent heads, but for that much you might want to spend a few hundred more and just get the AFR heads, IMO

if those heads come with valves and springs then get em.

they tested some afr 185's on that crate motor and got like 70 or 80 more hp than with the gt40x heads. unbolt them bishes and sell them for some afr's

yeah, i read that article about the afr 185's. I think they wrote the article alittle misleading...i think. I believe with the gt40x's you get a 65hp increase from stockers. But the 185's get a 75-80hp increase stockers.

i havent driven it yet. Im still going through the process of hooking up wires and crap. But as soon as i do, ill have a big post about it. I might sell my gt40x's if they're not enough for me also.
