255/45/17

keeps the stock rolling diameter, and it should fit fine

I'd put 275/40-17s on the rear.

the 235's on a 9 inch rim has to look crazy. not enough tire for that size. you need a 275 to have the correct size tire and rim combo.
245's for 8 inch rim
275's for 9 inch rim
295's for 10 inch rim
305's for 10.5 inch rim
315's for 11 inch rim

this is normal spec. for tires and rims combo.

Different tires for different year cars. 91-93 gts have a diff front fender lip to allow more room sn95s will fit a bigger rear easier....I would do a search for your specific year...

what year car do you have? the fox body have a smaller wheel weld than sn95. without modifying you can fit a 255 in the rear of the fox. without modifying you can fit a 285 in the rear of the sn95.
