i was thinking of getting gt 40 heads or gt 40ps and i was wondering which crane rocker arm stud conversion kit is the one i need wat are the advantages over pedstal wat setup came stock also how do i kno wat stud size to get i want to go with 1.6 rocker ratio

the advantage is your valve train is adjustable. Don't forget to pick up harened push rods.

the advantages of stud mount versus pedestal mount is the adjustability, where as with pedestals, you just kinda set in and forget it.

you need shims to adjust the valve train geometry with pedestal mount..

you really dont NEED stud mount rockers either

Yeah, like Adder said, the only advantage is it's adjustable, but you still have to make sure you have correct geometry. With pedestals you can shim them, or like I had to do, occasionally you might need longer pushrods. I'm running pedestal mount and don't have a single problem, and it's the same with a lot of other people as well
