Default What should i pay for afr 165's?

Hey everyone i have been reading through the forms and eveyone seams to like the afr 165's how much should i pay for a set of new heads and where should i get them from? also what is the bigest valve i can run with the stock pistons? my combo right now is in my sig.+ my e7's have a little bit of porting work done not much.

id say the 1.9 intake and 1.6 exhaust might be as far as you want to take it, since you are already running a good amount of lift on the cam with the stock pistons. just my 2 cents.

yeah it runs good but i still need more power im shooting for 300 to the wheels

Hey Bobby I found a sight through a yahoo search that had the AFR-185's for 1350.00 all day long.

They look pretty nice too.

I"m not sure one is better than the other, i believe thats what they flow and the 185's give you more room for future upgrades.

Yeah that is what i was thinking cose some time i would like to make it eat forced air ither supercharger or twin turbos.

i think you would want the 185's if you were stroking and blowing, maybe not just with the blower but not sure. but i just read they pulled 303 hp and 345 ft lb's out of a 93 cobra that was almost stock and makeing 220 hp to the wheels. thats fu**in awesome! and that was just bolting on the heads and adjusting the fuel pressure!
