fuel pump staying on
ok this is for mu buddys car its and 89 lx conv. 5.0 when he turns the car off the fuel pump stays on and he already replaced the relay. what else should he check? thanx

if nothing else is staying on it might be the relay again...
only other option really would be the ignition switch(not the key cylinder) but usually other stuff would stay on too.

what kind of relay did he get? first i bought a cheap one from autozone and it didnt fix anything and it actually made my car die a few times so i took it back and got a motorcraft one and that fixed my problem
