This one really has me stumped. I have a 94 GT that will randomly decide not to start and will just die out every once ina while when i come to a stop light orpull into a drive way. I'm thinking it has to be fuel or ignition related. I can hear the fuel pump kick in when I turn the key, and the car will try and try to start and eventually will right befoer the battery goes completely deaad and . Related parts that I have replaced are as follows:
-Ignition Module = 2 months ago
Cap & Rotor = 1 year ago
Plugs= 1.5 years ago
Fuel Filter= 1.5 years ago

if it's not a fuel system issue...I had a friend who brought his car to me a few years ago and had replace a lot of ignition parts and the one item overlooked was the pick up / stator inside the distributor......he told me his would die/stall out for no rhyme or reason......he had replaced cap, rotor, plugs, wires and was about to do an ignition switch when he brought it to me.. I ran a few tests and was able to determine the signal from the stator was intermitently going to an open and after a short cool down time would work again......it's a shot not saying that's your problem just an idea!!

(fuel)when it don't start spray some carb cleaner or starter fluid in the tb and see if it will start or you can take something an press the thing done where you take the fuel psi.(igintion) pickup coil,try taking a boot off of a plug puting a extra plug in it an make sure its got a good ground an have some one try to start it look for spark. also there is a little black box up by the anti freeze resivor that has a relay for main comp. fuel pump and rad. fan.that can also go bad next time prob occurs try taking something an beating on that box an see if it will start
