want to remove a/c from car.
i have a 86 lx and i want to know. is it hard the remove a/c unit from ur car by a do it urselfer? i want remove it becuz i want to clean up thre engine compartment so.and plus i know that it will free up some hp too.

it isnt hard. you just needa A/C Eliminator Pulley. It just bolts right onto where your compressor was.. then just remove your lines and condensor (and evaporator if you want??) but anyways. here is the link to the pulley kit for it on 50resto..
