Just tell them that you have a 1 cylinder lawn mower thats makes 40HP N/A and that according to what they say their car is slow compared to your lawn mower.

I've never heard of HP per cylinder, there's an HP per Liter rating that is commonly used to rate engines against each other. For example the 300 hp rating of a 2.4L WRX STi (300x2.4 = 125 hp/liter) Is hella higher than the Mustang GT 3v (300/4.6 = 62.2 hp/liter). The Integra if it is 190 and the motor is 1.8L then it's 105 hp/liter.

Tell them that if they think theyre four bangers are the best things on the planet because of hp/cylinder ratio that they should check out a funny car. 1,000 hp per cylinder. Never seen any fourbanger even come close to that.
