Default can & lifter help

I am planning an engine rebuild on my 89 gt. Its my only transportation so I want to have as little downtime as possible so I am trying to get all the parts before I start the rebuild. I am going to get the engine rebuild kit from summit with the forged pistons. My question is what type of cam/lifters should I get. I would like to add a little hp while doing the rebuild but nothing strip quality. Just a little extra for people feeling froggy on the freeway. All I know is that I am probably going to get a hydrollic cam with roller lifters. I have no clue what valve lift, duration, lobe seperation, grind # or any thing else should be. I have tried to get the info on other strands but the people didn't realize how little I know about cams and lifters. I would like to get the cam and lifter kit from summt. While I'm here I might as well ask what the undersing of the rod bearing and main bearing does. If it helps I am getting the pistons .02 over and I'm gonna get the block bored to .02 over. Thanks for any help you can give.

You might want to consider one of the factory performance cams offered by Ford. Im sure you could google it and find out some specs and performance gains.

Thems tha ones. There is a thread going right now saying how radical the e303 is and how thier car wont idle well with it, so with no more than your planning to do to your car and no more than youre expecting from it, I would say one of these would be perfedt for you.
