Default intake manifold worth it?

I have a 95 mustang GT with aode... Right now it has UD pullies, shorty headers, catted x pipe, SLP catback, shift kit, CAI, and 355 gears. My question is would i see any noticeable gains with a trick flow street heat manifold. I am looking to do a tune up this winter and I figure I have a little over 500 bucks to spend on a mod. I was also thinking about a cam... any suggestions?

a new intake isnt going to do much without heads...wait and do it when you have enough for heads/cam/intake. you could get some iron gt40s fairly cheap, they're not the best but will flow better than your stock heads.

i would put that 500 in gt40s, ford cam, and then get an intake, or just get yours ported

As said above , invest in some heads and either get the stock intake ported by someone like Tmoss or pick up a good used intake for a few hundred bucks .

I can't speak for the Trickflow intake but I put a used 94/95 Cobra intake on my fairly stock car and made some decent gains from it, it pulls alot harder from idle to redline now.

its a nice intake huh.... I hope you like all the stuff i left on it and completely forgot to take off.....

Like everyone else said, the intake isnt going to make much of a difference without changing the heads. GT40's can be had for cheap, OR you can invest in some awesome re-worked GT40P heads from www.tristatecylinderhead.com
