on my recently purchased mustang the clutch is really hard to push and almost sticks kind of to the floor and then once i let my foot off a ways it starts letting out, i have another mustang and the clutch is way easier to push and while im driveing the car i will start off in first and sometimes it wwill shoot out doesnt ever grind just pops right out anyone know whats wrong hopfully its not the tranny

Okay, im kind of confused, no punctuation.

So this questions is two different cars? One car the clutch is harder to push, maybe its aftermarket? The other car is popping out of 1st, because of your transmission syncro's. It will need a rebuild.

sounds like a fraied clutch cable does it just do it in first or outher gears

My car and my friend's car had this prob. Do you have a short shifter? Mine popped out of second sometimes, all we had to do is adjust the shifter's screws.

i would check the cable, it needs adjutment. Just get a firewall adjuster kit and lube the new cable

ye ai have a short thow and it doesnt grind like my tranny did before this one at all it only happens on take off i can down shift perfect. upon take off it violently shoots out some times

mine started poping out of first sometime last year but only did it for a day.. and that day i was doing doughnuts. it worked fine the next day or so
