3.90 or 4.10 gears?
this question is for you hard core drag racers out there. Not sure which gears to go with. I had 3.73 in my stock block nitroused 88 5 speed which worked well for shifting at 5400rpm through the traps to mid elevens. With my new 89 I am building I already have a new motor, a 331 stroker with Pro Comp 190cc heads, Comp cams cam, Trick flow Track heat intake etc, 5 speed. Car should make power to 6500rpm ( although may be shifted somewhere around 6000 to 6300rpm, wont know until all together ) and will be using a 150 shot of NOS. Which gear is better suited to that rpm band in the quarter mile? anyone out there have some experience to help the decision?

RE: 3.90 or 4.10 gears?
Suggestion:
Since you have 3.73 gears installed, why don't you baseline the track results with your new setup and the existent gears first.........that way you'll have more data that would justify a gears upgrade....... just a thought.
