I have a 95 5.0 with AODE. If I install a tranny from lets say a Crown Vic that has a 5.0 with AODE will it mess with the performance of the car. I know the fine tuning will not be perfect but does anyone know if it will effect it horribly.Right now it wont shift to second and the overdrive is gone and I need a quick cheap fix as long as it wont mess with my cars performance.

You have an AODE. And no, it wont hurt your performance.

 

if the crown vic is around the same year it and its an aode it should be the same thing
