ok roller will last longer, smoother revvs, better throttle response. hyd is only good for about 6000-6500 rpm, but they dont need to be adjusted. mech roller and flat tappet will need to be adjusted periodically to keep them from tearing stuff up and keep the car running right. i dont personally like flat tappet would recommend roller to any one for all reasons. solid will revv to the moon!

RE: how to convert to mechanical Roller cam
Thanks for the help... as I looked around I found this tech article about cams. IT really helped me figure some of this stuff out.

So it is best to use roller lifters... does that require a roller cam?? and this is what people mean when they say "roller motor"? and is my year a roller motor?
