water from tailpipes?

RE: water from tailpipes?
it is condensation that has collected in the exhaust, and when you drive the exhaust gasses push it out..there should be a weep hole in eash tailpipe to allow that to drain so it doesnt pool in there and rust things out.....but you should be fine...its normal

ummmmm..... if you first start it and water shoots out for a little while...yea it is condensation.
But IF it does it after you are driving it for awhile and it is warmed up and everything.....If it still does it.....then you have a bad head gasket.

not necessarly..I've driven mine for a while like my 66 yesturday to work and I shot a video/ exhaust clip and when I reved the snot out of it a light mist of water came out..not much though....In such situations you need to monitor your coolant level.....if you havea situation where water is constantly coming out the back and if it were such the case and that bad to the point it were coming out the tail pipes you'd notice excessive coolant loss just a minute blown gasket wouldn't cause enough problem that you'd see such a condition..the blow would have to be serious enough where excessive coolant loss is noticed over a short period and at that point the exhaust would be a cloudy white and very distinguishable...

There is a rare sitution that will keep emitting water from your exhaust. Usually on dual exhaust, low reving cars like ours.
Even after a long drive if it's really cold out, the exhaust pipes will never warm up and if you are just driving at low rpm, the exhaust will not push out the water. Most Canadians will have seen this.
Aside from that. During warm up, as said, condensation is normal.
