ok heres what i suggest...

well 1st off, their pedistal.[:'(]

i suggest taking them and getting them cut a little, and use screw in studs(this is VERY high on my list)...and stud mount rockers....

ok what i'd do is pull the head off, clay a piston, put the head back on(use the old gasket), bolt the valve train back up.. etc. etc. etc... check ptv right now... if all is good, and its safe to run 1.7s, go ahead and do it.. why not? if not, get 1.6RRs

or... or... get a dial indicator,and check all of the cam events with a degree wheel, etc...

its always best to know exactly what your working with... and hell, its not hard work... just take your time

if u dont wanna do this, then get 1.6 rrs, and i still suggest the screw instuds
