Default Nuetral saftey switch bypass

Mine is totally stuck on gone, whenever i turn the key i have power everywhere and it just clicks. yesterday it was acting up and was only starting when i had all my foot pressure on the clutch, my question is how do you bypass the switch so i can start and drive the car.

get a universal horn button and run it to the starter selonoid as if you were jumping it with a screwdriver and put the button in the car, but be sure to disconect the ignition start for the selonoid. did it to a buddy of mines 86 and it works great. but be sure you have the clutch in or the car out of gear before you start it.

wouldnt it be easier and cheaper to just replace the switch? instead of getting that horn switch and runing those wires risking the possibility of having those wires burn up and start a car fire?

whats wrong with car fires? in all seriousness though if you use a relay and use a good size guauge wire, you shouldnt have to worry about a car fire.
