Default gt-40 intake vs. stock

What's the main difference with performance and structure fitting between a stock intake or the gt-40 intake on a sn-95? Is it worth the money for the upgrade? I can get one for about 100-150$ in good shape..

pretty big difference in performance, I think my tuner said the GT40 intakes are good to about 400hp. Without heads and a cam though you won't notice much in the way of performance gains. If you get the GT40 intake without the elbow you'll need an elbow adapter to run it with your SN95 setup.
