Car runs nice, but it grinds in 3rd every single time. Whether I'm gearing up or down, {{{grind}}}. I can push past the grind and it goes into 3rd and it'll shift out of third fine. I've adjusted the cable over and over but it still grinds. Actually, I can get it into 3rd without grinding if I'm going at just the right speed.

What can I do?

you need to rebuild the tranny focusing on the third gear blocker ring and sincro hub which is part of the third gear....the teeth may be mushroomed[:@]
