Default 88 GT MAF

Hey my bro just got a 1988 GT and he decided his first mod to be a bigger MAF since his electricals are messed up. He purchased a Pro-M MAF for the 88-93 GT. When he got it in the mail and was going to connect it, his wiring harness had a different connection on it, but it was the correct port for my harness.

He has T-tops and I know that 88 was the last year for T-tops, and it was discontinued early that year. So does anyone know where he can get a MAF with his same connection on it? Or are we going to have to find that part of the harness in a junkyard or Ford?

If anyone can help, please leave it here or in a PM and I will get back to you.. Thanks a lot!

Default RE: 88 GT MAF

The 88 year modles did not have MAF unless it was a california car. The person who had it before him may have done some sort of homemade conversion on it. But if the wiring is their then go get a MAF wiring harness of a 89-93 in the junk yard and splice it in.
