mac equal length hitting motor mount

mac equal length hitting motor mount
anyone else have problems with mac equal length headers hitting the passenger side motor mount? when i bought the car they were on there and the motor mount was cooked, the rubber was crispy and falling out because the header rested on the rubber, so i replaced them with another set of factory replacements. i just put on poly mounts and the passenger side header is touching the metal of the motor mount. i won't burn them with the new mounts but i don't like the idea of the headers hitting the metal part of the mount.

RE: mac equal length hitting motor mount
I have a set of Mac stubbies off my buddies old car that will be going on soon. I hadn't looked at them in years, but did noticed that they were dinged on the RT side on purpose, maybe it was for this clearance as well. I haven't even looked at what I'm up against there. Is the mount on the right side?

yep i have the mounts on the right side. the passenger side header has a small dimple in it so maybe they did that at the factory for clearance. i'll just live with it for now. later i can take the motor mount off and grind it down enough that it doesnt hit.
